Imagine that you have a chance to direct a short film with the guidance of three professional filmmakers. IMAGINE that under the watchful eye of Tony Spiridakis, who has directed Academy Award winning actors Timothy Hutton and Richard Dreyfuss, you will develop your shooting script weeks before you even arrive at film camp. IMAGINE prepping your films as soon as you arrive with producer-director Shannon Goldman. IMAGINE being critiqued in the edit room by actor-director Tony Goldwyn. IMAGINE rehearsing with your actors, shooting on location, building a shot-list with your cinematographer, as you direct, edit, then screen your film at the Greenport theater on the last day of film camp. Can you imagine all that? Well, we will do more than imagine it. We will provide exactly that. You will have made a short film that was conceived, written, directed, and edited by you, all under the supervision of a caring and world-class faculty. We feel confident that your two-week experience at MFI Summer Camp will be transformational.
