TONY GOLDWYN is now starring on the ABC hit series “SCANDAL”, and has starred in films such as THE LAST SAMURAI, with Tom Cruise, KISS THE GIRLS, with Morgan Freeman, and the iconic GHOST, with Demi Moore and the late Patrick Swayze.
A WALK ON THE MOON marks Mr. Goldwyn’s directorial debut. It was a script he found and fell in love with, which at first, he wanted to produce and act in. When too much time passed before the right team could be brought together, Mr. Goldwyn chose to direct himself, and the result is a stunning debut. The cast is stellar. Diane Lane, Viggo Mortensen, Anna Paquin, and Liev Schreiber, are simply amazing. Since then, Mr. Goldwyn has directed SOMEONE LIKE YOU, starring Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd, CONVICTION, starring Hillary Swank and Sam Rockwell, along with episodes of hit television shows like GRAY’S ANATOMY, JUSTIFIED, DEXTER, to name but a few. We are so lucky to have Tony Goldwyn as an MFI Faculty member, and overjoyed to be able to share him with our wonderful North Fork community.
GHOST will be shown in the Cultural Arts Center at Peconic Landing on Thursday July 10, 2014, for MFI Summer Directors and Actors, residents of the Landing, and guests from the local North Fork Long Island community.
